Hey there, thanks for visiting my page! My name is Imagin Shively & I am the owner/operator of Ruhe Studio! What started as a really fun hobby has turned into the biggest dream career I could’ve imagined for myself. It’s not every day people love going to ‘work!’ Not only do I step into the salon everyday to perform what I love but I get to make my clients dream hair come to life! Where it all started : I grew up & attended school in Urbandale, IA. I spent most of my time with my two younger brothers & loved to enjoy time outside, playing soccer, or getting into things we shouldn’t have been. Although - when it came down to it, my hair & makeup was always done! I’ve always enjoyed making others pretty but it wasn’t until my senior year that I decided to graduate from high school early & pursue the beauty industry. I started at The Aveda Institute in the beginning months of 2020. It was an interesting road, with all things considered (COVID), but it was in that moment that I knew hair & getting to know my clients would be my all time favorite thing to do. And I’ve been lovin’ it ever since! Some of my favorite services to perform include blonding, balayages, lived in colors, subtle brunnette transformations, bobs, shags, extension installs, ETC. Cancellation Policy

Because hairstylists don’t make a set hourly amount or a promised salary - a cancellation policy is in place. Any appointment not cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged a 20% non refundable fee for the services booked. I appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see you for your next appointment!
